Looking at self and taking responsibility

The importance of looking at ourselves and taking responsibility is at the epicentre of what we do at Somewhere House Addiction Treatment Centre. Often times in addiction we look out, blame others and act the victim when instead, if we look at our own behaviour, gain acceptance and take responsibility for our actions, the possibilities are endless. A programme of group therapy, one to one counselling and recovery studies work is individually tailored for all clients who come into treatment at Somewhere House Addiction Treatment Centre. Key to completing treatment and maintaining a stable recovery is whether the person puts into practice, looking at self, owning where we are are wrong and taking the learning. A beginning, middle, and end in other words. This is called a process and being able to process our own emotions without apportioning blame and looking out at others is another way our clients learn to self manage without the need for a substance to fix.
