Christmas Is Coming

Clients have begun the countdown to the Christmas celebrations, which for all of them will be a unique experience in that they will be enjoying their first Christmas, sober in recovery. Today the clients were invited by St Andrews church to decorate one of their trees. Needless to say, after some initial anxiety they all thoroughly enjoyed it and had a wonderful time.

Over the coming days, the rehabilitation centre will be decorated, much like a traditional home is. The food will start arriving (in droves) and everyone will support each other and much fun will be had!

In the run up to xmas, we even have themed group therapy groups which are related to xmas and designed to help clients through this time which can be difficult for some.
