Collaborative Working

At Somewhere House, person centred care and the ethos and values of the organisation are at the core of the work we do. Clients are heavily involved in their treatment, as are their funders, carers and families. This is done on an individual basis - so effectively we treatment match every client that comes in.

One of the meetings we are attending today is a video conference panel, which means offering to be involved in and answer any questions that a panel of funders has about a client who is seeking to extend their time in treatment.

This is best practice at work, adopting a 'many heads' approach to practice ensures the best chances of getting things right, as much of the time as possible and with the best possible outcomes always being the end goal.
