Different Forms Of Therapy

One of the amazing things we do at somewhere House is understanding that therapy can be done in many different forms. Creativity has an amazing therapeutic value. We get the opportunity to express ourself through art, cooking, music and other creative forms. For clients who may struggle to express themselves with words, this gives them the opportunity to say how they feel in different forms. We have created songs to express the power of addiction and healing from it. We not only gain therapeutic value but also life skills through cooking and baking. Our art work is shown for all peers to see and it makes a lasting impression.
