Student placements

Student placements at Somewhere House Addition Treatment Centre, give prospective counsellors who are doing their training, an opportunity to work alongside the team here and get valuable experience around what it's like to work in a setting like this. Student counsellors are able to attend group therapy, see clients (under supervision) for one to one counselling and get to grips with the processes we adopt here, to ensure safety and boundaries are maintained to the highest standards. Feedback over the years we have been doing this has been overwhelmingly positive.
