Clients Visiting the farm

Clients are visiting the farm today. On the farm we have 4 horses and a pony, plus 2 dogs and an elderly cat. Working with animals is a great therapeutic tool. Many clients at mid way onwards of their treatment can choose to do voluntary work and receive equine therapy with a trained counsellor. Today, the whole house is going to the farm, the sun is currently out and this is a nice visit for the clients to enjoy the peaceful countryside. Visits like this are something that we can safely do with the clients and is another therapeutic tool used in a holistic approach to substance misuse treatment.
