Managing resentments

Resentment is a primary, dangerous emotion in recovery, often labeled the "number one offender" that triggers relapse by creating, nurturing, and dwelling on past wrongs or injustices

 It is a form of "re-sentiment" or reliving negative emotions, which hinders emotional healing and blocks inner peace. Successfully managing it requires honest self-reflection, forgiveness, and developing new coping skills.
