From a funders perspective...

I have been sending clients to Somewhere House since 2017. I am always impressed with the professionalism, empathy and skill they offer to our clients. I have witnessed how both the staff and clients are supported in their personal development. I have personally witnessed staff de-briefing sessions following group therapy, where not only the clients' needs are discussed as a team but staff are supported to reflect on their own and each others practice.

Staff always work in a person-centred way and are always wiling to explore how they can accommodate complex clients. Most importantly, as a Social Worker I feel confident that if Somewhere House do not feel that they are the best service to meet an individuals needs, they will signpost and advise on an alternative rather than accept them.

Unlike many rehab providers, Somewhere house provide me with comprehensive progress reports which allow me to understand how my clients are progressing and enables me to effectively support them, particularly when individuals choose to return home and are at an increased risk of relapse. Communication is of the highest standard and when I place a client with Somewhere House, I always have full trust that they will provide the service promised. Although boundaries are very clear and enforced fairly, the staff understand the nature of addiction and work hard to support clients to learn how to develop structure to their lives and adhere to these boundaries.

If myself or a family member ever required addiction treatment, the ONLY rehab I would choose would be Somewhere House.
