Adapting to change

Here at Somewhere House addiction treatment centre, we are focused on continuing to deliver our service of group and one to one counselling therapy despite the concerning times in which we all live.

How do we do this? Through secure video conferencing. Yesterday for example we had a virtual move on group which linked up all of our move on houses, some shared their struggles, others their hopes and many were grateful to be able to see others, all be it through a screen.

One to one counselling is continuing virtually. Clients in house have continued with their group therapy and we are now linking in move on clients via video link to the main group.

The joys of technology, keeping us all connected and supporting each other through this difficult period of change.
